Tis the Season
It snowed last night. Ugh!!!!! I hate snow! The minute Thomas seen it this morning he wanted to make snowmen. It was so cute.
I'm having another terrible day. This place just gets to me sometimes. I don't like to complain or gripe about it, but sometimes I just can't help it. I just wish they would get their damn heads out of their asses and use their brains once in a while.
I sometimes feel like I'm in a power struggle with my boss. I don't know if it's just me, or if this is just the way things are supposed to be. When it comes to my teams, I defend them, and I don't back down. I research everything before I make a decision and I don't just go with whatever comes my way. It had better make sense, and not be a whim.
The struggle comes from the fact that my boss also wants to direct one of my teams. She knows one of the girls personally and they have somewhat of a friendship going. It's a sticky situation that I just don't even want to tangle with. How do you approach your boss and ask her to allow you to do your job? Not an easy task. Especially when your boss is a part of the corporate staff.

I don't blame you for not wanting to take up the issue with your boss. Sounds like something to avoid if possible.
That's my plan. I get along with her fairly well, I don't want to ruin that. I should look at it like this, for every issue she takes on, it's one less for me to worry about. :D
