Reading Material
I know I have mentioned before about my love of fashion magazines. That being said, I have tons of them. I get 2 in the mail every month. (You can't pass up on a subscription of Allure and a subscription of Glamour for $20 total)
But, here's the thing, my husband has also become a reader of these magazines! It baffles my mind. As I sit here and type, I can hear the pages crinkling in the bathroom as he reads one of my past issues. (Yes, I know, that was a horrible visual.)
At first I thought he was just staring at the skinny models. It made me mad and I would confiscate all the magazines from the bathroom and replace them with his hunting magazines. Then one day he asked me about one of the articles he read, and if I thought it was true. It was an article that pitted male behaviors against female behaviors. It was supposed to be one of those eye opening things that help couples relate better in relationships. I was shocked. He actually was reading the articles and learning things from them. (Although, I'm sure, it all started out with him just staring at the skinny models.)
Now I actually point out articles to him that I think he should read. It's kind of funny.
