Crack!

What do you get when you cross an 11 year old with a school play ground?

Give up??

A 4 hour trip to the emergency room and a broken arm!

That's right folks! I have had the wonderful experience of watching the emergency room staff administer 4 shots of morphine and 2 shots of something else into my son. While my son was in a partially unconscious state, I also had the experience of witnessing first hand as 2 grown men stretched his poor arm apart to set the bone. And, if that wasn't enough, he was also hooked up to an IV, a heart monitor, and an automatic blood pressure cuff.

Ugh!!!

Zach was playing on the monkey bars and fell off on his arm. He said you could hear it crack. Yikes!! And, nope, no morphine for me, but I could have used the morphine after seeing that though!

Oh no!!! I'm surprised you didn't cry during the whole thing. Sometimes parents take it harder than the kids. Hopefully he's doing well now.

He is doing ok Linny. It's starting to hurt him now, and he's getting a little whiney, but he's doing ok. Just needs a little TLC.

Can you get TLC through a needle too? I'm moving to Michigan, lol.
