What's up with the stupid maintenance??
It's been driving me crazy!! I have so much to talk about!
The propane guy that came out to the house yesterday scared the heck right out of me. He was so creepy. He was an older guy. But he looked at me so weird. It was like he couldn't pull his eyes off of me. (In a creepy Charles Manson kind of way.) I thought about it for the rest of the day. We were all watching TV last night and all of a sudden the dog started barking out of control and growling. The first thing that popped into my mind? That stupid propane guy! I immediately started wondering if he had come back to murder me and was lurking around the outside of the house. I told the kids it was probably the skunk that has been wandering around the house for the past 2 nights. They had no idea that the propane guy freaked me out so bad. (Zach had Tony stay the night last night.) They weren't here when it happened.
Jessica and I went shopping yesterday to pick her out some new fall outfits. I have to say, I think we did well. I really liked everything she bought. It was definitely stuff I would wear myself. I ended up buying myself a brown turtle neck sweater type thing. I wore it today, naturally. I love new clothes. Don't even need an occasion to wear them. LOL
We stopped at the video store while I was in town today to rent some movies. OMG!! Thomas was being a nightmare. I was so embarrassed. I didn't even get to pick anything out for myself. We ended up with Benji and a game for Zach and Tony to play. When I got up to the counter the guy commented "Looks like you've got your hands full today" and laughed. One good thing happened though, he didn't charge me the late fee from the last time I rented videos. And, I still have a $6 credit. (The store I get my videos at always has a half off card deal. You get a months rental at half off and any late fees you have are converted to credit when you pay them.) So, I got out of there without having to pay a dime. He must have really felt sorry for me. Yikes! That's kind of embarrassing.
Speaking of Benji. I put it in and Thomas started watching it while I cooked us up some lunch, and the next thing I know, he's bawling his eyes out. I walk into the living room to see what in the heck is going on, and he's crying because Benji is being chased by a man and the movie is playing scary music. He looks at me and starts saying "Bungee Mom! Bungee Mom! Get him!" He wanted me to save Benji. It was so cute. Too bad he couldn't have been this cute earlier today when I was trying to pick out a movie for myself.
