Holy cow the roads are bad! I made it to work without a problem though. More then half the plant has called in, it's an absolute skeleton crew out there. Only 2 other managers, beside myself, are here yet.
I thought you folks "up North" knew how to drive in this stuff. You aren't exactly in the UP, but close enough. I was under the assuption everyone up there had 4 wheel drive, a rifle rack in the back, and a Nascar sticker in the window....was I misled? LOL...have a nice day...
The official word is 16 inches of snow over the course of the night. Plus, the wind has drifted everything shut. By the airport, total white out conditions. Heck, on my road, it was white out conditions. In front of Pam and Gary's house I plowed through at least 3 foot of snow, I can't blame anyone for not showing up.
I love how you decided to do your audioblog while driving in the stuff...
I assured my niece and her friends yesterday that there was no way school would be cancelled today. With big eyes they tried to explain to me how big the drifts were in the fields. I said, "Busses drive on the roads, not the fields. You'll have school." How wrong I was, but I've since convinced myself that I knew school would be cancelled all along, and that I was only teasing them. :)

No measurable snow here this winter to date, but it's been stinkin' cold the last few days!

Ah the price of living in northern beauty...
I would trade the 'northern beauty', at the moment, for a little tropical beauty. :D
Just sit me on a beach somewhere, give me an endless supply of strawberry margeurita's, and I would be happier then heck.
