At 3:40 this afternoon I remember I was supposed to pick my son up from school at 3:00. Ugh!!!!

Point is you did pick him up. Is this the same kid that got kicked off the bus? Maybe he deserved to wait...as long as he was safe?
My kids still rag on me about when I did that...and it has been 13 years!
thomas, yes, same one that got kicked off he bus. He was safe, he was at the school playing football, but it still makes me feel horrible.

Hey at least you didn't leave him at the grocery store and notice he was missing until 1/2 way home... Yep, Big Mama's mom did that to her when she was 7. We had the 2 neighbor boys and my two brothers with us and went to the grocery store. Mom loaded up the station wagon with food and boys and left. About 1/2 way home one brother piped up and said,"what about "big mama"? Her reaction was,"Oh shit!" Then an immediate u-turn. I was sitting on the floor of the store in the corner reading. I never even noticed that they had left...
You my dear are a wonderful mother. You love your kids and would never put them in harms way. Give yourself a break, your kids do...
